computers--IT....on call 24/7 365 days....so when a server crashes--he goes to work even if its 4am on sunday morning.

yes....and sometimes his phone going off while we are sleeping is a pretty rude awakening!

had yakisoba for dinner (its usually made with pork but we did so with chicken---its noodles fried with a meat ---usual pork, but chicken or beef is ok--cabbage, carrots and some brown bbq-ish sauce....)....yummy!!
tomorrow is yet another japanese dish night---takenoko (baby bamboo shoots) with rice and other veggies....also yum!

and my knee still hurts---winter is coming soon

I've never had pizza from them, how's it rate vs domino's

In england it's two for one on tuesdays from domino's so need a reason to try from johns...

I like Papa John's a little better than Domino's. Domino's is cheaper, but I think Papa John's is a little better quality. At least around here it is anyway.

I like Papa John's better than Domino's as well. We get a student discount here so a large 1 topping is $7.69 instead of the normal ridiculous price.

Papa Johns is better quality overall. I'd rather get them or Pizza Hut before Dominos. I never really liked them, but when people are looking for lower prices you cant beat Dominos.

Do you get the Chicago or New York style pizza. I prefer the chicago since it is a bit thicker, but living on the east coast, New York style dominates.

ah pizza talk.....dominos is about equal to store brand frozen pizza (no offense to the frozen pizza)....little ceasars was one of the best for college kids when I was in college (2 XL pizzas for $6)....papa johns was ok, but it came out later....

being a Chicago born kid----chicago style pizza is the best!!! Pan or deep dish, both .....I like crust!! (its the rodent part of me----fiep LOVES bread).

sloppy thin crust is like eating.....well, its not my style.

yeah Giordanos is one of the best pizzas in the midwest.....(or was when I lived there-hubbys fav too).

no pizza for dinner last night----takenoko rice, turned out ok, added daikon , long onions and wakame ---all boiled (and yeah all japanese stuff...none of it is fish though).

pasta is on the list for tomorrow ---hubby's turn to make.

very tired....they woke me up about 90min after I fell asleep this morning taking down a tree (or something along those lines)....took them about just as long to do it....then I tried to go back to sleep....only got a few hours....had to nap this afternoon---felt groggy afterwards (not the right time for my nap, but was toooo tired to do much else).

will try to get a few consecutive hours tonight. (well thats the plan...usually is, however, the rest of the world doesnt seem to like my schedule or want to adhere to it).

I would try going to bed earlier, that might help keep the construction and such from waking you up 90 minutes after you go to bed.

Giordanos is still pretty freaking good to say the least.
